SIPIX:
Cohesive Brand Development
SiPix developed an ingenious way to produce electronic
paper, a revolutionary electronic display technology that promises
to change the way people get their day-to-day news and information.
To succeed in the marketplace, SiPix needed a strong brand identity
that could communicate technology leadership and distinguish SiPix
from market contenders.
Designworks created a new corporate logo whose red, green and blue
connected shapes form a compelling visual representation that differentiates
SiPixs patented microcup display structure from
other competitive offerings. Because SiPix is headquartered in Taiwan
with manufacturing facilities in China, Designworks also developed
a Chinese logo.

A new corporate identity system further establishes the companys
brand across print and digital media. Photographic lifestyles
montages communicate the uniquely readable, portable, flexible
and durable benefits of SiPix technology in real-life scenarios.
Eye-catching illustrations in a product brochure reveal the functional
advantages of SiPixs patented microcup technology.

Designworks also leveraged the lifestyles concept into
mural prints for a 10x20 tradeshow booth. The large format
color murals customize the standard booth structure to attract visitors
on a crowded show floor. These same images convey the message of
SiPixs key benefits on the Flash homepage of the SiPix new
website.

Launch
web site

Designworks created an extranet page providing SiPix with 24x7 secured
access to their complete style library of brand communications elements,
including multiple formats of the logomark, font style and color
palette, and PowerPoint template for presentations.
